Amazing physical changes
So during this challenge Emily and I have been aiming to get a body scan weekly to track our body transformations, and yesterday, 3rd July, blew me away at the current readings. My Why

EVERY CHALLENGE IS JUST AN OPPORTUNITY AND INSPIRATION TO SHOW YOUR GREATNESS!!!
Everything I try to do in life leads me back to helping others and putting them first, sometimes at the cost of myself however I’m working on that, and in undertaking the #75Hard challenge to better myself and strengthen my Mental Resilience I have again found myself thinking of others and doing all I can to help and support, and the added extra of personal tragedy highlighted this again, to help others who are going through what we did or help prevent them having too.
I am in the midst of the 75Hard challenge which has been extended to 3 mths, ending 31st July 2025, supported by @infinitygroupau @becholm @graeme_holm & @coachnickmccallum. I undertook this journey firstly to support my better half @ fat2fitwithem, then understanding it was a mental challenge I dug in to better myself and help my mental strength to help with my coping mechanisms of being a veteran with PTSD, Anxiety and Depression.
A month into the journey and tragedy struck our family and my Dad was rushed to hospital following a major stroke with significant bleeding on the brain to areas of the cerebellum and brain stem, he was rushed to emergency surgery and given 50/50 chance. He made it through the surgery and then it was a long nearly 3 weeks of ups and downs, with our family and the amazing doctors, nurses and staff at @thealfredhospital doing everything they could and in their power until finally Dad just didn’t have the strength or fight left and we gathered by his bedside as he passed, finally void of pain and suffering and now at peace.
I vowed then to do everything I could to find a way not only to give back to other Veterans going through their own Physical and Mental battles, but also to help victims and families of Stroke to assist them in dealing with what they are or about to go through and potentially prevent other families from having to deal with this trauma.
So I have joined with @mates4mates & @strokefdn to raise funds to help where ever I can. Please give generously to one or both of these amazing causes. I am pledging to personally match the combined contributions of donations, up to $1k.
Please dig deep and give as little or as much as you can to #HelpMeHelpOthers.
Remember Challenges are just Inspiration in Wolf’s Clothing, Don’t be Scared to do Great things!!!
Please help me reach my goal
I am a veteran, with my own set of physical and mental scars and I’m doing 75Hard, competing against myself in a 90 day or 3mth Challenge to better myself both physically and mentally, with an amazing and inspiring group of other people.
Like many veterans life after the military has been very hard at times, not knowing what to do, where to turn, how to handle myself or where to go to for help. I’ve found that there isn’t just one linear path and that it is a long journey of ups and downs that I continue to battle to this day.
I have found that 75Hard has given me the opportunity to challenge my mental resilience, grit and determination and in doing so has made me mentally strong to handle the emotions of anxiety, depression and PTSD moving forward.
Through this challenge I also was unlucky to lose my father to a Stroke, who I dedicate this journey through 75Hard to and also looking to raise funds and awareness for Stoke Foundation Australia, and being on the 75Hard journey actually helped me to reframe this tragic moment and not only see the happiness in it but I have been able to process much clearer the outcomes and support my family where needed.
I’m here to give back to other veterans who are still lost and finding it tough, that are still struggling to find their new “WHY” in this civilian landscape, and who are trying to come home to their families mentally and heal old wounds.
Please help me by donating as much or as little as you can to support veterans and their families.
Joined with my other fundraising page for “Stroke Foundation Australia” in dedication of Dad, I pledge to match every dollar raised and donated up to $1k by my end date of 31st July 2025.
Dig deep and help your mates, please!!!
I'm proud to be raising funds for Mates4Mates to help support veterans impacted by service-related injuries and their families.
Mates4Mates need our help to do more and provide much- needed support and rehabilitation services to those in need.
Please help me make a difference by donating. Together, our impact is greater!
