Challenge yourself to do 10,000 steps
Each year we run a 10,000 Steps program across our Family Recovery Centres, as part of our focus on active living. You too can pledge to get moving for our cause and start your own 10,000 Steps challenge with your friends, family or colleagues.
Host a sports event
Sometimes getting active is more fun when done with others! Organising a sporting event or activity is a great way to make a difference. Popular active fundraisers are golf days or football matches, bushwalks or bowling events. Register your event, sell tickets, ask for donations or auction off goods on the day.
Join an organised event
No time to organise a challenge yourself? No problem! Simply join an organised event or race you like, enter the event, create an online fundraising page here and share the link with your family and friends, so they can sponsor your challenge and help raise vital funds for veterans.
Choose your own
Already have a fundraising idea that you want to turn into a reality or need some help in coming up with the right idea?
By registering today, you’re taking the first step. The Mates4Mates will then be here to help get you on your way. There are so many ways to raise funds and support veterans and their families.
